BBB Impress
BBB · Budget bril met wisselglazen· €35.00
Our verdict
At €35 the smartest entry-level eyewear for Dutch cyclists. Three lenses in one pack.
Detailed review
The BBB Impress is the budget entry-point for anyone wanting serious cycling eyewear without dropping €100+. €35 buys three interchangeable lenses: clear for evening and misty Drenthe mornings, yellow for diffuse forest or rainy light, and dark for summer tarmac rides. Three lens conditions in one pack.
Optical quality is clearly below a Zeiss lens from POC or a Prizm from Oakley — colours flatter, contrast less dramatic. But for an occasional rider or newcomer to the sport, it does exactly what's needed: shields eyes from wind, rain, sun and bugs on Dutch cycle paths.
Versus a €120 POC Aspire you save €85 and get 3 lenses where POC ships one. For anyone going serious, an upgrade to POC or Oakley is logical. For anyone testing the water: BBB Impress is the smartest investment.
