About Fietsvergelijk
Fietsvergelijk is an independent comparison site for cycling accessories. We help Dutch cyclists choose the right products based on real data — not marketing budgets or sponsorship deals.
What we do
We test, score and rank cycling accessories across 16 categories: from bike locks and helmets to rain gear and bike computers. For each product we give a score on four dimensions: overall, core property (such as security or brightness), value for money and ease of use.
Our independence
Brands cannot buy their way into our rankings. We don't accept sponsorship deals, paid placements or free products in exchange for positive reviews. Every score is based on public specifications, testing and user experience.
How we score
Each product gets a score on a 0 to 100 scale. We look at hard specifications (such as safety certifications, waterproof ratings and battery life) and soft factors (comfort, mounting, warranty). Scores are recalculated when new products or updates appear.
How we earn
We earn a small commission if you buy something through our affiliate links at Amazon. This commission does not influence our scores or rankings — a product that scores poorly keeps scoring poorly, even if the affiliate link generates revenue.
