AGU Clean Shelter Backpack
AGU · Waterdichte minimalistische rugzak· €65.00
Our verdict
For minimalist commuters the smartest waterproof backpack at €65. Too small for heavy loads.
Detailed review
The AGU Clean Shelter is a refreshing minimalist option from Eindhoven's AGU. 17 litres is modest — perfect for laptop, lunch and rain jacket, tight for gym kit. The waterproofing is real (roll-top + welded seams), making it a unique value at €65.
The design is deliberately simple: one main compartment, no internal organisation. If you want tablet, phone and keys in dedicated pockets, look at the Vaude. If you want waterproofing with minimalist aesthetics, this is the right balance.
Versus the Ortlieb Velocity you save €45 but lose 6 litres and the reflective strips. Versus the Basil Flex (€40) you gain real waterproofing but lose hook-on flexibility. For city riders in Amsterdam, Utrecht or Groningen who don't carry too much, this is the smart pick.
