Hebie Fox 2-Leg Stand
Hebie · Dubbele aluminium standaard· €25.00
Our verdict
For regular city bikes and lighter e-bikes an excellent lightweight alternative to the Ursus Jumbo. For heavy e-bikes, pay €5 more.
Detailed review
For a regular city bike or a lighter e-bike, the Hebie Fox strikes a pleasing balance between stability and weight. Aluminium versus the Ursus Jumbo's steel saves nearly 300 g, and on a daily 22 kg trekking bike that's a noticeable difference when lifting or carrying.
Germany's Hebie has supplied OEM parts to big bike makers for decades, and that quality shows on the Fox. The fold is compact and in practice clears the pedals more cleanly than cheaper alternatives. For 28-inch wheels — the Dutch city-bike norm — it works out of the box.
The limit is the 27 kg max load. A Gazelle Chamonix HMS (26-28 kg) sits at the edge; a loaded e-cargo like the Riese & Müller Multicharger is over. Versus the Ursus Jumbo you save €5 but lose 8 kg of capacity — a rational trade based on your bike.
