Detailed review
Buy a Gazelle, Batavus or Cortina e-bike and you'll often get a kickstand designed for a regular city bike, not for the 25-30 kg loaded reality of the e-bike. The result is familiar: one gust at Amsterdam Centraal and your new Chamonix is on the ground. The Ursus Jumbo solves it. Up to 35 kg bike weight, double leg, and 50 years of Italian reputation in the segment.
The adjustable height (29 to 33 cm) fits any wheel size between 26 and 29 inches. Mounting sometimes needs the included adapter plate, but for most popular e-bike frames it works out of the box. The powder-coated steel frame survives Dutch winters for years with no visible rust. Against the cheaper Ursus King the Jumbo feels noticeably stiffer; against the Pletscher ESGE it's €5 cheaper and carries 5 kg more.
Honest: 700 g is more than a single-leg stand, but you won't feel it riding. Anyone still running a single kickstand on an e-bike pays the price at the first proper gust at NS Centraal or the Albert Heijn parking.
