The 18 mm shackle is thicker than what virtually any hand-operated bolt cutter can chew through; the point where tools are faster than a quick grab-and-run is gone here. Even with an angle grinder it takes meaningfully longer than a 13 mm shackle, and every extra second in public counts against the thief. Mechanically Kryptonite does what you expect at this price.
