Detailed review

Giant's strategy has always been: same tech as premium rivals, less money. The Revolt E+ Pro proves it: €4299 buys you an 85 Nm SyncDrive Pro motor (essentially a re-badged Yamaha PW-X), 500Wh battery and Shimano GRX 810 — the same drivetrain tier as the Cannondale Topstone Neo Carbon 2 costing €1200 more.

The aluminium frame is the obvious trade: 18 kg versus 16 kg carbon. On flat Dutch cycle paths you barely notice; on a long Limburg climb you do. The Giant retail network in NL is a serious plus — service and repairs are close by. Versus Cannondale where you work through importers or official dealers, that's a real advantage.

For riders who want premium components without the premium price, this is the most sensible choice. Plan for €100-150 in accessory lighting and a €30 GPS mount, which the Cannondale ships with.
