Scott Solace Gravel eRIDE 20
Scott · Lichtgewicht carbon e-gravel· €4999.00
Our verdict
For the weight-sensitive e-gravel rider who chooses natural feel over brute power — the lightest option.
Detailed review
The Scott Solace Gravel eRIDE 20 is the bike for the gravel rider who actually wants a regular gravel bike — but can use a push every now and then. The Bosch SX was designed with this philosophy: 55 Nm instead of 85, just 2 kg motor weight, and a ride feel as close to analog gravel as possible.
At 14 kg total this is objectively the lightest bike in this comparison. On a Veluwe route where most distance is just pedalling and only climbs need assistance, that's a serious advantage. The carbon Solace geometry is sportier than a Cannondale Topstone — more road, less all-day.
The limit: 400Wh battery gives a realistic 50-80 km mixed terrain — less than the Cannondale (500Wh) and Giant (500Wh). For 100+ km day rides you need the PowerMore extender battery (€500). For 40-60 km rides focused on ride feel over brute power, this is the smartest pick.
Who is this for?
- Weight-conscious e-gravel riders
- Riders wanting the most natural ride feel
- Race-oriented gravel riders (sport geometry)
What to watch out for
- 400Wh is limited — long rides need the PowerMore extender
- 55 Nm feels less powerful on Vaalserberg-style climbs
